Student safety
Comfortable, safe and affordable student housing — well maintained, accessible and student friendly, with security you can see.
Safety is managed, not assumed
Every house has controlled access, a security company on contract and a facility manager who lives with the building rather than visiting it. Faults are logged, given a ticket number and worked from a daily report, so a broken lock is somebody's job by the morning.
- Flexible leasing options
- Fully managed premises
- Convenient proximity to institutions
- Access control and security personnel on the properties
- Armed response at 48 Mataffin Hill and selected residences
- Emergency numbers displayed in every building lobby

What to do in an emergency
Get yourself safe
Move away from the danger first. Do not confront an intruder or a fire — get out and get others out.
Call for help
Emergency numbers are displayed in the lobby of every building, and the Ligcabho line is answered 24 hours.
Report it
Tell the house warden or a student house committee member so the incident is logged and followed up.
Follow up
The manager reports to the board, and maintenance or security matters arising are actioned through the daily report.
